This Privacy Policy describes how Oraqel Code ("we," "our," or "us") collects, uses, and protects information when you use the Oraqel Code mobile application ("the App"). By using the App you agree to the practices described in this policy.
1.Information We Collect
We collect only the information necessary to provide your personalized experience. This includes:
- Profile information you provide directly, such as your name and date of birth, used to generate your Oraqel Code calculations.
- People you add to My Circle, including names and birth dates you enter to use Cupid's Arrow compatibility, Childbirth Planning, and other relational features. You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to enter another person's information.
- Subscription and purchase information processed through Apple's App Store. We do not see or store your payment card details.
- Device information such as device type, operating system version, and anonymous usage data used to improve the App.
2.How We Use Information
We use the information you provide to:
- Generate your personalized Oraqel Code, archetype readings, compatibility scores, and other features within the App.
- Save your profile and the people in your Circle so you do not have to re-enter them each session.
- Manage your subscription, free trial, and account status.
- Improve the App through anonymous usage analytics.
- Send optional push notifications including daily readings and important account updates if you have enabled them.
3.How We Store and Protect Information
Your profile and Circle data are stored securely on your device and, where you have enabled cloud backup, in your private Apple iCloud account associated with your Apple ID. We use industry-standard security measures to protect any information transmitted to our servers. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, but we work to protect your information using reasonable safeguards.
4.What We Do Not Do
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share your name, birth date, or Circle data with advertisers or third party marketers. We do not use your information to build profiles for sale or to target you with ads. The information you enter is for your reading, not for our revenue.
5.Children
The App is intended for users aged 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
6.Your Rights
All users: You can delete your profile and all associated data at any time from within the App's settings. Deleting the App from your device also removes your locally stored data.
California residents (CCPA): You have the right to know what personal information we collect, the right to delete personal information, the right to opt out of the sale of personal information, and the right to non-discrimination for exercising these rights. We do not sell personal information.
European residents (GDPR): You have rights including access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, and the right to object to processing. To exercise these rights contact us at the email below.
7.Push Notifications
With your permission we may send push notifications including daily Oraqel Code reminders and app update alerts. You can disable push notifications at any time through your device settings.
8.Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes we will notify you through the App or by email. The effective date at the top of this document will reflect the most recent revision. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
